Food great! But the way they treat their fellow human beings and customers is the last thing! Just because they seem to have a monopoly on great burritos shouldn't make you so aloof.

The food was delicious and the amount was very generous. Unfortunately, bad mood seems to be a hiring criterion to work there.

It's lovely. I had picked up a vegetarian burrito on November 1st, 2020 at around 8:45 pm. Shortly after the meal, the burrito had to go back downstairs. Incl. Bowel pain. Your restaurant is not what it used to be. So not just because of intestinal pain. Unfortunately was the last time with you. And YOU were open that day.

Uffff these burritos are so delicious, I can't recommend them

The burrito is just ok, there are better ones in Hamburg, and the service is underground, as always. The worst, however ... Despite the extra request (and that more than made clear) not to have any olives in the burrito, there were olives in it. Due to my allergy, of course, I could not eat it and complaints were not possible because I live in Maschen. Is just not clear!

Extremely rude staff. There was no desire to entertain us. Edit: Entertain in the sense of greeting, assigning a table, explaining the principle, etc. My evaluation is explicitly not about ordering yourself.

The experience overall was good. Pretty good serving portions. Cost is economical too. Tacos, Enchilladas, and Burritos, all of them were delicious. The service is chaotic. Only cash payment is possible!

The galley is just really awesome. Here people are filled with enchiladas for ten until the last free seat in the stomach is sold out. Sure, nobody likes to stuff themselves, but the good taste makes it difficult to stop eating. It should also be said that you can alternatively order half a portion - but who does that? Also good: five different beers to choose from, because a beer is always a good accompaniment. You have to decide for yourself whether you should eat here right before going to bed, because beans tend to provide ventilation under the covers. Like to come here.

Food is delicious and plentiful, and it feels hotter than it was a few years ago. Due to Corona only outside, which I think is very good. There is a deduction for the rather unfriendly service staff

The food is at least as good as the staff is rude, so VERY. However, you should know exactly what you want to order, as the staff will have very little patience with you and if you have extra wishes, it is better to bring a helmet with you. Bon Appetit

Very good food for a small price. You have to be lucky to get a place straight away. When there is a big crowd, you wait a while for your meal, but it's worth the wait.

Got the galley as an insider tip and it was worth it. Small inconspicuous restaurant with a couple of seats. The prices are really cheap and you get large portions that taste great. We thought we only got a small snack here and got a really great dinner! Gladly again!

There was a lot going on last night and many people apparently already know this place. We found a place with a little patience and luck, but it is probably better to prepare yourself to take something with you at the moment. Because of the protective measures, the interior is not open for sitting. We had to wait a bit, but when the food came we knew it was worth the wait. It was versatile and tasty because there were also some own creations, not mass-produced goods. You fit here best if you value alternative cultures.

Extremely cozy and almost street food, filling, tasty and served with high spirits. Queue on the street by locals always promises well and we were not disappointed.

Staff is super lovely, the location is a little dodgy by night but the food is definitely great. Been here twice during our stay - the vegan Mexican food was soo nice.

Off the beaten track, well worth the effort.. though the effort only begins once you've eaten. The burrito was soooooo tasty and filling... Highly recommend this fast food, alternative and hip place.

The food is just too good. Lot of vegetarian options. Cool place to chitchat with your friends and indulge into Mexican food. They have some nice Mexican beer too to compliment your food. Order is at the counter. Washroom can be improved but I guess that was just because of weekend. Must visit place

Delicious Mexican food, cozy atmosphere

This is a good place for mexican food for vegans, vegetarians and meateaters in Hamburg! The meals are big-seized and the venue is really cosy... although Kombuse only get three stars from me: the staff were quite unpolite, the food was need of some more spices -not only chilisauce and final: i had ordered vegetarian burrito and was served chicken, not ok!

Nice food! The big salad is actually very satisfying and tastes good. The service was quick, however one of them was quite unfriendly.. They refill your water bottle if you ask!

Nice food reasonably priced. Service could be a little bit warmer, though, and every Mexican restaurant should serve Margerita's!

Every time I eat here the food is better than the last! The amount you get is almost absurd, the burritos are as large as my face.

It's advertised as Mexican food, they've got Mexican style decor, they even have some decent cerveza, however the food is far from anything resembling good Mexican cuisine. Perhaps I was spoiled growing up so close to the Mexican border. Where's the Kreuzkümmel? Where's the chili? Where's the sweet and spicy flavors? Where is any flavor at all? No big bowl of chips on the table accompanied by a variety of salsa? Okay, perhaps that's only an American thing. But still! And I understand this is, more or less, a self service establishment but I don't need attitude with my tacos. Rude and aloof staff were the icing on the lousy cake. And for the record, quantity is not always better than quality. It's a shame, this place has the potential to be great but they fall way short.
